'Significant sites in my home town' is a series of black and white photographs by Andrew Ross. Andrew was born in Masterton and has photographed extensively in the Wairarapa town. This series of twenty-four 8" x10" contact prints, gold and selenium-toned, is exhibited in rooms 3 and 4 of Photospace Gallery from 19 July to 10 August, 2019.
Photospace has exhibited Andrew Ross' work at least annually since his first exhibition here in March, 1999. His work is held in many public and private collections. See Artist info. We're not having a regular opening for this exhibition because Andrew is out in town for the start date, so we're instead holding a 'mid-exhibition gathering' on Saturday 27th July, loosely from 11am-2pm. You're most welcome to come along. Part of the previous exhibition - the John Fields series in gallery room 1 - is still on show until 3rd August. The Fields vintage prints and the Max Oettli photos are no longer showing.
