'men' is Wellington photographer Alex Efimoff's first exhibition at Photospace Gallery.  The exhibition opens on Thursday 27th August at 5pm and runs until 14th September, 2015. Admission is free. Artworks are for sale.
Gallery hours: 10am-4pm Monday-Friday, 11am-4pm Saturday. Closed Sundays & public holidays. After hours viewing by appointment.
The exhibited photographic images feature full male nudity and so viewer discretion is advised.

Alex Efimoff - artist information

Alex Efimoff was born in 1978 in the Russian Far Eastern island of Sakhalin (Karafuto Prefecture, Japanese pre-1945). Alex, the son of a Russian sculptor, grew up surrounded by his father’s art. In 2007 Alex moved to New Zealand and after a year in Auckland settled in Wellington, the city he fell in love with. In 2010 Alex completed a 2-year Diploma in Photography at Massey University. Since then he has been establishing himself as an art photographer who works in genres of portraiture, fashion, architecture and monochromatic documentary.
