James Gilberd - 'A Month of Sundays - Responses to the Covid-19 Lockdown' online exhibition at PhotospaceGallery.nz, April 2020 -
This is the beginning of a series of photographs of our Khandallah house, which my parents bought in the 1940s and in which I have lived in all my life. I am 56 and I live here with my wife Denise Durkin - a full time artist and art teacher - and our 13-year-old cat Leo.
Another part of this online exhibition, my series of cellphone photos of Khandallah, Raroa and Johnsonville during the lockdown, can be viewed here.
