Coffee at Photospace Gallery
We're not operating as a cafe, but we're happy to make you a coffee to enjoy while you browse the artworks in the galleries. There's now somewhere peaceful, Koha (a donation) for a coffee is appreciated.
We are using Wellington Coffee Co-op's Tui blend - a rich, darkish roast with deep, smooth chocolate undertones. The beans are fair trade and organic. Coffee is available when the gallery owner (the short, grumpy, beardy guy) is in and feels like making you a cuppa. The espresso machine is usually shut down by 2pm or so, as a safeguard against insomnia. Coffee menu
Flat white – a safe choice
Latte – as above but milkier Long black – good choice if things are running well Espresso – as per Long Black Macchiato – marked difference from above Ristretto – for the aficionado Aficionado - not actually a coffee type Americano – similar to long black, but longer Cappucino – if you insist, but no sprinkles Hot chocolate – tempting, but no Soy or Trim milk – what do you think this place is? Decaf – no, no, no! Frappucino – try Starbucks |
